Mike Heath was a vital contributor to the 7-3 Chicago victory over Toronto. The White Sox shortstop belted 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Douglas Nelson, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 5-7.
