5-for-6 Day for Gaetti
It seemed that Cleveland third baseman Gary Gaetti could do no wrong as the Spiders KO'd the Rangers, 16-4 today. Gaetti rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Rangers hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Spiders were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Texas fan after the game.

"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Gaetti in the postgame press interview.

Gary Gaetti hit a two-run home run off Catfish Hunter in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Doug Sisk in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jesse Orosco in the 9th.

Currently Gaetti is batting .271 with 21 home runs and 65 RBIs.
