The Montreal Expos picked up a win at Olympic Stadium, taking down the Houston Astros, 5-2. Starting pitcher Frank Tanana was a big reason why. Montreal, at 78-52, is 8½ games up in the National League East Division.

In the bottom of the fourth, Montreal third baseman Ernesto Quevedo had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and no one out, Quevedo stroked a 2-run single to right-center. It made the score 3-0, Montreal. For the game, he went 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Tanana said after the game.
