Orioles Prevail, 3-2, Over New York
The Baltimore Orioles picked up a win at Memorial Stadium 1954, taking down the New York Yankees, 3-2. Starting pitcher Danny Cox was a big reason why. The win puts Baltimore at 51-96.

Had Steve R Ontiveros not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Ontiveros hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Orioles.

"I was a little disappointed," said New York manager Corey Cashen. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
