A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Rod Allen led the New York Yankees to a win over the Cleveland Spiders, 7-5. The victory gives New York a record of 76-74.

Allen had a key at-bat for New York early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave New York an early 6-3 lead.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Allen.
