Gonzalez Hits 3 home runs in Blue Jays Win
Toronto center fielder Jose Gonzalez helped his team beat the Baltimore Orioles, 10-5. Gonzalez, who finished 4th in the AL in doubles with 36 last year, went 3 for 4 for the Blue Jays. Toronto starter Storm Davis was credited with the win after throwing 130 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 6-3. The Orioles, now 13-33, have lost 4 in a row.

Gonzalez contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Toronto in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Gonzalez took a fastball from Don Robinson and stroked the home run to left. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Blue Jays to leap in front, 3-2.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Toronto manager Randy Potter.
