Red Sox Rally For 10-7 Win
The Boston Red Sox knocked off the New York Yankees, 10-7, at Fenway Park 1976. Kevin Klettke was a big reason Boston won. The second baseman went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Bruce Sutter earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 5-0. The win puts Boston at 41-16 this season.

Klettke had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 slider from Jose Paz, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Red Sox a 10-7 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Klettke.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Boston manager Jeff Blim.
