Tigers Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 2nd, 1982 They have certainly not struck fear into the hearts of any other X Factor Baseball League teams this season and as of today the Detroit Tigers are officially out of the race for the postseason. This is the club's 14th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1968. In total, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 92 times in their 100-year history. Detroit last won the World Series in 1968. |
