PCL's Star Player Named Monday, August 30th, 1982 Tim Wallach has the tools to stick in this league for many years. The 24-year-old third baseman of the Eugene Emeralds had a hot bat in the Pacific Coast League over the past seven days and won the Player of the Week honors. Wallach batted .522 with 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs and 8 RBIs. To date this year Wallach is batting .248 with 19 home runs. |
