Travelers Blank Express, Acevedo Wins Sunday, July 18th, 1982 The Round Rock Express were almost helpless today in their 2-0 loss to the Arkansas Travelers and hurler Ricardo Acevedo. Acevedo kept the Express confused all game, spinning a 1-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Acevedo," Round Rock manager said in his postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 21-year-old left-hander had 4 walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Acevedo said.
