Sedar Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle Monday, July 19th, 1982 Mets left fielder Ed Sedar made big news today in Visalia's 10-4 victory over the Stockton Mariners. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Sedar said later. Ed Sedar hit an RBI triple in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Green in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
