Clinton Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 23rd, 1982 The Clinton Pilots have spent much of the season on the outside looking in at the playoff race. They will be permanently on the outside now, after being officially eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 13th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1969. In total, the Pilots have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 12-year history. |
