Northern League Announces Top Starter Wednesday, September 1st, 1982 The Pitcher of the Month for August has been picked and the Northern League award went to Sioux Falls hurler, Bob Baldrick. During the month, Baldrick was impressive with a 1.32 ERA and 5 wins and no losses. In 41 innings he struck out 37 and gave up 21 hits and 11 walks. In 26 starts this year Baldrick has posted 12 wins while suffering 11 losses. He has pitched 204.1 innings, allowed 180 hits, struck out 145 and has a 3.44 ERA. |
