Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Carrasco

Norm Carrasco has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 20-year-old Bellingham Mariners second baseman extended his streak today to 30 games, going 2-for-4 as Bellingham got the best of the Renton Wrecks at Ballpark of Wrecks, 7-4.

"Norm has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Mariners manager said.
Norm Carrasco grounded out in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.

On the year Carrasco has hit .356 with no home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 49 runs.
