Streak Finally Over, Brower Held Hitless
Tuesday, August 10th, 1982
Bob Brower of the Geneva Red Legs came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 24 games. Making matters even worse for the right fielder, Geneva dropped the game to the Summit Red Dragons 6-4.

"It was not a good day today," Brower told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over."

This season Brower has hit at a .330 clip and produced 21 runs batted in, 5 home runs and 44 runs.
