Akerfelds Pitches 3-0 Shutout for Medicine Hat Saturday, September 4th, 1982 Magic was in the air and on the mound at Williston Park today as Darrel Akerfelds held the Williston Water Wolves spellbound in his 3-0 shutout victory. The Medicine Hat Blue Jays pitcher went the distance, rang up 3 strikeouts, walked 3 and held the Water Wolves to 4 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Williston manager said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him."
