Fenton Grabs PINL Reliever of the Year Award
Thursday, September 30th, 1982
Donald Fenton said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 21 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Great Falls Voyagers rising star has won the Pioneer League Reliever of the Year Award for 1982.

He captured the award on the strength of his 2.21 ERA over 57 innings. He also had 6 saves in 38 relief appearances, 47 strikeouts and only 43 walks.

He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Tony Ghelfi of the Butte Copper Kings finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Brian Roerden of the Great Falls Voyagers finished third.

Player - Team - First Place - Total Points
