Playoffs Won't Happen for Olas Tuesday, January 12th, 1982 While they stayed relevant late into the season, there will be no postseason berth for the Merida Olas. The club today was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Olas have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 11 years as a South of the Border franchise.
