Havana's Guzman Stands out in Shutout Friday, December 28th, 1979 It wasn't easy but Tony Guzman made it look that way. Guzman silenced the Acapulco Locos, 7-0, in a Havana Conejitos triumph at Havana Ballpark today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Guzman said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 2 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." So far in 10 appearances this season, Guzman has recorded 7 wins and sustained 1 loss.
