Stuewer Collects Cycle

Trent Stuewer hit for the cycle and paced the Madison HS Dodgers to a 12-3 victory over the Allentown HS Annihilators at Ballpark of San Antonio HS today.

The Dodgers second baseman led the way for his club with 4 hits in 6 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 3 RBI and 3 runs.

"Now that I know what Trent is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Madison HS manager joked with reporters after the game.

Trent Stuewer singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Paul Cline in the 8th.

In 36 games this season Stuewer is batting .305 with 46 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 24 runs and driven in 21.
