20 Games in a Row for Davidson Sunday, May 3rd, 1970 Chalk up another one for Union City HS Fire Fighters first baseman Brian Davidson. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Davidson went 3-for-5 today's game at Isotopes Ballpark but saw his club defeated 10-7 by the host Fountain Valley HS Isotopes. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Fire Fighters manager said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Brian Davidson grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Davidson on the season is hitting .401 with 5 home runs. His stats include 34 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
