Most Valuable College Pitcher Award Winner Announced

There's less room in Trevor Faugno's trophy case today after he brought home the 1972 League 1 Most Valuable College Pitcher Award.

The talented North Carolina Tar Heels star finished the year 9-2 with a 2.19 ERA. He struck out 94 in 107 innings while walking 49.

Andy Turnbow of the Clemson Tigers finished second in voting, while Ryan Verhey of the Florida Gators finished third.
